The Commissioner lauded the team’s exemplary work in deploying the latest in technology to protect taxpayer data from bad actors and bringing taxpayers into a secure digital future. This project is integral to bringing the IRS into National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) compliance and achieving the agency’s mission success.
